Perspective

Perspective.

I truly believe that changing your perspective can change your attitude and changing your attitude can change your life.

Some see the glass as half empty. But me? I choose to see it as half full.

Some see the circumstances in front of them as impossible. But me? I believe that impossible situations create room for miracles.

Some think that God is against them. But me? I know that my God is always for me.

Some going through infertility see their womb as barren. But me? I choose to see it as fruitful and fertile.

Some wallow in hopelessness. But me? I am full of hope.

Some choose to focus on the chaos of this world. But me? I choose to focus on the peace of Christ.

Some view God through their circumstances. But me? I view my circumstances through God.

Some won’t step out of their comfort zone because they don’t want to fail. But me? I take every chance to step out of my comfort zone because I want to walk in faith.

Some people whine that they don’t have the newest gadgets, like computer or iPhone. But me? I am happy to have any gadgets at all.

Some think that their trials are the worst thing that could ever happen to them. But me? I am thankful for every trial that has happened to me.

Some people hate waiting. But me? I am thankful for all that God teaches me in the wait.

Some people complain and grumble their way through life. But me? I choose to praise and enjoy each day that comes my way.

As you could imagine, this list could go and on.

It’s all about perspective.

Everything that comes your way, whether it’s a flight delay or something harder and more serious, like infertility, gives you an opportunity to think like Christ. Christlike perspective allows you to view your life and your circumstances through God’s character. Christlike perspective allows you to find joy and peace in the hard seasons. Christlike perspective always sees the good in other people. Christlike perspective reminds you that with God on your side, no trial, no hardship and no difficulty will ruin your life.

It’s amazing how a change of perspective can change your attitude. And when you change your attitude? You can change your life. What perspective will you choose today? Choose the perspective that lines up with Christ! And yes, the choice is up to you!
