Moms In the Making – Session Two

Moms In the Making has started back up again!! We took the month of August off and we had our first meeting with the new group last night. The original 7 girls are all still coming, and we have 3 new girls!

God is doing big stuff – even just last night it was such a blessing to all be in the same room, doing introductions, sharing our stories, and having time in prayer. It’s so amazing that even though there are so many differences: ages, length of marriage, length of trying, procedures done, doctors seen, etc – we all can come together and share our joys and share our pains. There is a definitely a bond that was formed over the summer with the girls and the 3 new girls fit right in. Again, just like I had said on my last post, these aren’t just friends for this time period, I know they are girls that will be friends for a lifetime! I can’t wait until we are having play dates and celebrating our babies birthdays and milestones with one other.

We finished the Pregnant with Hope book over the summer and are going to read God’s Plan for Pregnancy this fall. I already read it and loved it and my prayer is it changes all of our perspectives while we wait. The book outlines childbearing scriptures and gives practical ways to apply them.

Two of the girls who got pregnant during the summer are still coming (and I’m so glad they are) and we are waiting expectantly for more pregnancy announcements this fall! I hope to find time to post about the Pregnant with Hope book and will continue to do posts about the group and the book over the next few months! Praising God for bringing us all together and thanking Him for what He has already done, what He is doing, and what He is about to do!
