Moms in the Making – Session 6

If you are new to this blog, I have been leading a local infertility support group since May 2013. Our group is year round and we meet twice a month! The group is constantly changing as new girls join and others become pregnant and become moms, but there are currently 10 active girls in the group and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them.

A few months back, I also started an online group so women who aren’t local can join. My heart is to point everyone’s trials back to Jesus and encourage each girl in their walk to become a mom. While infertility is a very, very, very hard journey, I am so thankful to be able to connect with women not only in my home, but all over the world.

Well, I have exciting news because the Lord is doing BIG things. As of today, there are now 23 babies from my local group!!! Amazing, right? Thank you Lord for bringing new life! While most of these babies are already born (and many will be turning two in the spring) this number includes the babies still in the wombs too. As if that number isn’t amazing enough, 5 of the ladies who were in the group when it started are already on their second pregnancy. In addition, we have NOT had one miscarriage. Many of the girls had one miscarriage (if not more) before joining, but there hasn’t been one since joining (we have had two women who have had a missed miscarriage. I know those are just as painful, so I don’t want to diminish those painful moments).

The reason I am sharing this update is to remind you that God is amazing. Nothing is impossible with Him! Twenty three lives have been formed by His hands. 23! What a testimony to His faithfulness. It leaves me in awe to think of the kingdom impact these babies are going to have! The Lord knew the exact timing they would be conceived and born and He followed through with His plan! We are praying and believing for a downpour of babies for the rest of those who are waiting!
