Memory Monday – Week 96

I could stay in Romans forever! Today I’m back at it, but have moved to chapter 11. Romans 11:29 says, “God never changes his mind when he gives gifts or when he calls someone”

I love the message version of this, “God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty – never canceled, never rescinded.” In this passage, Paul is referring to God not giving up on Israel. The privileges and gifts given to Israel will never be withdrawn. However, this can be applied to every situation. God doesn’t change His mind. When He calls someone, He will fulfill the calling. He doesn’t cancel what He has spoken. There is a full warranty of His calling which covers all realms. His plans will never change or never be thwarted.

God desires to bestow his gifts on you – love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, joy and all the other fruit of the Spirit. He desires good things for you and the gifts and calling He has for you will stay in place forever. You are under his full warranty forever. Take a hold of the gifts and call He has on your life. Don’t be like the Jews who neglected their mission to receive God’s blessing, but press into Him and receive what He wants to give you. He can’t change His mind so the only one who can is you!.
