- The verse acknowledges that the Lord is my God. We don’t serve several God’s. We just have one, and He is ours!
- The verse acknowledges that we cry to the Lord for help. When we are in the middle of a trial we may get to the point where we don’t know what to pray, but God is there when we cry out to Him. This doesn’t say we cry to our husband, friend or family member, but we cry to our God.
- When we acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior and cry to Him, He heals us. The healing does not come from clean eating, acupuncture, vitamins, or any other fertility(IUI/IVF) or medical treatment. It comes from the Lord our God, who is the great physician. He created our bodies and He is the same one that heals our bodies. Is it bad to do the things above or seek medical attention? No, of course not. But, we must remember that healing is not because of the physicians’ talent, but the Lord’s talent used through the physician. The healing power flows from the Lord as a gift He blesses the physician with. When we begin to place our trust or hope in anything or anyone other than Him is when it becomes an issue of idolatry.
Seek Him! He hears when you cry out and He will heal you!
