While I head out of town for the week, I am having a few friends guest post for me. Today, I am having one of the most inspiring girls I know, Rebecca from Caravan Sonnet. Rebecca has faced more trials than most of us ever will, but does it with so much love and grace. She is in the middle of defeating cancer and lymes disease! Despite all she has going on around her, she continues to trust God. She is a true testimony of walking with the Lord during hard times. I hope her post blesses and encourages you, as she shares about a topic I am very passionate about, waiting on the Lord! Thanks Rebecca for sharing with us today!
Waiting is the hardest anguish isn’t it? Waiting on the Lord to answer prayers that you have prayed months and years and sometimes decades to see come to fruition is something that is hard to adequately express in words the emotions that can be felt and can feel like we are navigating walking a tightrope over a very deep chasm. Waiting is the difficult anguish of acknowledging my deepest longing and desire is being unfulfilled at present and wrestling with the bewilderment of what seems to be unanswered prayer and God’s silence.
