It’s time to start thinking about Christmas cards and my sweet friend and bride-to-be, Kara, who is the owner of Sweet Peas N Chickadees, has the cutest handmade cards. Since it’s the season of giving, I thought it was time to do a giveaway. This is really a win-win for everyone. Who doesn’t love sending cute cards out to loved ones and who doesn’t love winning free stuff? Without further adieu, here is a message from Kara….

I’m so happy to get to share with you all this passion of mine and give away some greeting cards! I opened my shop this past October, a few months after getting engaged. My fiance proposed while we were on vacation, and on the plane ride home, I was already planning our big day. Thanks to my fiance and my shared wedding board on Pinterest I already knew several details, including what I wanted our Save the Dates to look like. In an effort to customize the Save the Dates to fit our look/style and save money, I set out to learn how to make them myself. Luckily, my fiance is quite the techie and helped fast forward the learning process. Here is how they turned out:

I loved creating the drawings so much and with the encouragement of friends and family I decided to open my first Etsy shop. We just moved back to Dallas to be closer to family and friends after living in Austin for 3 years, and several of the cards are inspired by times spent with family and friends as a kid and now as an adult. I also create designs based on requests from family members such as, “Do you have any angel Christmas cards?” Hence, all of the holiday greeting cards with angels on them. 🙂
