Every Prayer Matters

How many times have you asked God for something and gotten no response? Maybe like me you have waited years and years and have grown weary because your prayers haven’t been answered yet. And perhaps you are feeling so weary right now that you even stopped praying.

Today I want to encourage you to keep asking. I want you to know that every prayer you have ever prayed matters. Every single one of your prayers has been heard by God. You might pray for one specific thing, like a baby, and wonder what is taking so long, but God is bringing 10,000 things in alignment to answer your one prayer. Even though as the years pass by it might feel like God is delaying, I want you to know that he is working out his very best for you. He sees the bigger picture and knows the very best timing to answer each and every one of your prayers.

Matthew 7:7-8 says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” God doesn’t get worn out or tired by your prayers. He delights when you continue to approach him. He wants you to ask, seek and knock until the door is opened. You might be wondering, “what if I have asked every day for 10 years and nothing has changed?” Well, I encourage you to ask again. Don’t stop asking until the door is opened.

Just because you haven’t received your answer yet doesn’t mean God doesn’t care or hasn’t heard you. God is 100% engaged in your situation and from me to you, please know that he has heard every single prayer you have every prayed. You never know what prayer will bring the breakthrough of your miracle, so don’t stop praying. No matter what you are praying for or how long you have been praying, remember every prayer matters.
