Infertility Success Rate

I am not a big fan of statistics. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes there is a time and place, but when it comes to the medical community, I just don’t like them.

Why? Because God is so much bigger than a statistic.

Fertility issues aren’t new to the 21st century. In fact, infertility is talked about all throughout the bible. One of my favorite stories ever is the of Abraham and Sarah. But, they aren’t the only couple that suffered. This is a very, very quick summary, but here are examples of couples in the bible who went through infertility:
Abraham & Sarah – Isaac
Isaac & Rebekah – Twins
Rachel & Jacob – Joseph and Benjamin
Manoah & Wife – Samson
Elkanah & Hanna – Samuel + 5 more
Shunammite woman & Husband – son
Elizabeth & Zechariah – John the Baptist

If you read these stories in scripture, each one is different. Some come with much more details than others, but they all have something in common. God performed a miracle and opened up each and every womb.
Every couple who was barren in the Bible went on to have a child or children. Every single one.

100% success rate.

God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He is no respecter of persons and he is still performing miracles each and every day, including opening wombs. So, what statistics are you going to believe today? It’s up to you, but I am going to trust the 100% stat because I know that absolutely nothing is impossible with God!
