Recovery

Kai’s surgery went well. They removed 95% of the large tumor, which was the goal. He was sedated for the rest of the day after the surgery. They took his breathing tube out yesterday and put in a feeding tube. Today, he got out of bed to sit on his momma’s lap, ate some jello, and was responsive, which was a HUGE accomplishment. He is such a fighter. Continued prayer requests for:

  • Swelling in head to go down
  • Results of biopsy
  • Quick recovery
  • All pain to be taken away
  • Next steps. aka miracle – Jesus takes away the rest of the cancer and we can celebrate victory!

Thank you SO much for your prayers!!! We are all feeling them! Kai is such a fighter and we are excited for the healing the Lord has already done and will continue to do!

Hey girl! You know that I am still praying! Thank you so much for sending me updates. I know that God is faithful to His word and this is going to be another testimony of how God restored what the devil meant for harm.

“O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.” ~Psalm 30:2

Jesus said to him, “I will go and heal him.” ~Matthew 8:7

So glad things went well and he is recovering. God is good. My cousin also had a tumor in his brain when he was 5 and had to have surgery. He is now 27 years old and is living his life everyday. Will keep Kai in my prayers.

Their strength, love, and faith in God shines through loud and clear. It is so incredibly inspiring, despite this unbelievably difficult time. I will be praying for your family.
