Healing Service – Part 3

Colby and I have been overwhelmed with the amount of prayer we have recieved lately. We are constantly asking people to lay hands on us and pray or people are coming up to us and offering. We were even at a baby shower a few weeks ago and a sweet friend who I don’t see that often took us outside to pray over us. It’s been humbling and just amazing.

We just got back from a healing service that we have been going to. It’s really not a service, but just a time to share your requests, and have people pray. I mentioned it back in July which was the first time we had been. The church offers the prayer service every other week and we have gone to every service that we have been in town for. I just love what God is doing through all this prayer. We joked when we left today that we have received so much prayer we are going to end up with like 12 kids or something 😉 And, they do prayer at the church every morning, so we get more prayer tomorrow – super pumped!

We are just loving what the Lord is doing. He is so good. Just as the people prayed over us today (who don’t even know our story), we are asking the supernatural to step in as we we have done all we can do in the natural. Amen, Lord!!! Ever since we have taken a break and given up control we have just been filled with joy and peace from the Lord. There is nothing the Lord needs us to do to bring a child into this world. It’s a miracle of life that only He can create!

Love this! Giving up control is so hard and once you finally do it there is an overwhelming peace that God is truly in control of your life and He cares for you! I keep you in my prayers that God will grant you the child/children you desire!

It really is so comforting to have people praying for you isn’t it? It brings more peace than 100 hours of therapy!

Prayer brings on so much peace. It’s an awesome feeling to know that people are praying for you. I am so glad that you have been able to let Go and let GOD. That’s been my quest for some time now, praying to give him more control each day. You are an inspiration.

“We have just been filled with joy and peace from the Lord”

    Lord-
I pray you fill Caroline and Colby up with you. Remind them that it is You alone that can satisfy. I than you that your plans and perfect and go beyond our wildest imaginations. I pray that you comfort them as they wait on You to move and bring a child to them. Thank you for their sweet faith and joy through the trial. God, you are so much bigger than any test or hormone level. YOU can make the mountains move, and breath life into nothing. God, I pray for total healing their bodies. I lift them up to you and pray for your supernatural touch to her womb. Thank you for bringing this sweet woman into my life.
    Amen!

I love this post! Prayer is so incredibly powerful, so much can happen through it! It’s a beautiful thing to let go on control and let Him do the leading. We have felt the same joy and peace since we’ve taken a break too, it’s actually quite wonderful. I wish we had taken a break 3.5 years ago haha! 🙂 Lifting you up in prayer!
