I’m driving down to Austin, Texas tomorrow and am super excited. I will be walking my very first Half – marathon. Yes, walking! My sister in law and I both have bad knees and aren’t able to run long distances, but both love working out, so we figured why not walk? But, it’s not about me or us. More importantly the purpose of the marathon is to raise money for orphans and adoption all around the world. I love that we can partake in a marathon that has a good cause! Please join me in praying for strength to complete the race as well as well as orphans and adoptive kids who are or will be directly affected by the race. Visit the site for more information or to donate money for the cause. I’ll post some pictures next week. Oh, as an added bonus, it’s in Austin, which is an awesome city, and I get to hang out with my bro, SIL and my sweet(est) nephew Kai!
