Thankful

What I Am Thankful For in 2017

I have talked about thankfulness so much lately. And that is because I think it’s so important to focus on the positive things in life, not the negative ones. For the past several years I have shared brief recaps on what I am thankful for. These might seem a little repetive from year to year, but the truth is, I have so much to be thankful for. Here is a brief overview even though the reality is I could be here all day typing up reasons I am thankful

On my list is the Lord’s big heart for us and how he is preparing a table, provision, and big life changes for us in the future, and we don’t deserve a single bit of it. Even so, He just loves to change lives and bless His people. I was reading 1 Samuel 9 and 10 this morning about how he raised Saul up as king over Israel – he was of the least of the tribes, just searching for some donkeys with barely any money or goods to his name, and the Lord totally changed the trajectory of his life! I just started crying telling Brian about it. If we even got 1/10 or 1/100th of the Lord’s provision in that way in our lives, I would be so grateful (and already am), and we just don’t deserve any of it… *cue all the thankful tears*

Love you and thankful for how the Lord has been transforming your life in big, scary, uncharted ways, and I’m thankful for your big, thankful heart! Love you!
