Like a Cloud - Elevation Worship

There is a Cloud

Happy Monday friends! Hope everyone is having a good, long weekend! I am busting at the seams to share this song, There is a Cloud, by Elevation Worship. If you are new here, then I should give some background to this song and why when I heard it, I fell in love. A prayer for my Moms in the Making group is that we receive a “downpour” of babies. It’s something we have been praying for and believing for. I have shared several scriptures that line up with that, but it’s really the whole idea that the dry, barren seasons will be over soon and the latter rains and babies are coming. The good news is, this doesn’t just apply to babies, this applies to a downpour of rain for every barren situation you are facing. So, I hope the lyrics from this song bless you as much as they have me!

You can buy the CD here.

There is a Cloud – Elevation Worship

Hear the Word, roaring as thunder
With a new, future to tell
For the dry, season is over
There is a cloud, beginning to swell

Hear the Word, roaring as thunder
With a new, future to tell
For the dry, season is over
There is a cloud, beginning to swell

To the skies, heavy with blessing
Lift your eyes, offer your heart
Jesus Christ, opened the heavens
Now we receive, the Spirit of God

We receive Your rain
We receive Your rain

Every seed, buried in sorrow
You will call, forth in its time
You are Lord, Lord of the harvest
Calling our hope, now to arise

We receive Your rain
We receive Your rain
We receive Your rain
We receive Your rain

Like a flood, like a flood
We receive Your love when You come
Like a flood, like a flood
We receive Your love when You come
Like a flood, like a flood
We receive Your love when You come
Like a flood, like a flood
We receive Your love! And with great, anticipation
We await, the Promise to come
Everything, that You have spoken
Will come to pass, let it be done!

A beautiful song. Psalm 126:3-6 “The lord has done great things for us, we are glad. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negeb! Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy bringing his sheaves with him.” I stand on this passage for the restoration of my daughter to Him. Thanks for sharing that song! – Amy
