The Ultimate Essential Oil

So many people are using, sharing, and talking about essential oils these days! Trust me, I love them too and have seen lots of great benefits so I know it’s exciting! I love sharing with others natural ways to physical, emotional, and spiritual health and essential oils are definitely one of them!

We initially started using essential oils to help improve our fertility. Over the years, we have also made changes to our diet, tried acupuncture, added vitamins and super foods, etc. While we are making natural changes, some other girls might be able to relate by seeking doctors and/or fertility treatments. Or, maybe you aren’t dealing with infertility, but you have another medical issue. Headaches, cancer, sleep apnea, acne, etc. The list as we all know can be endless.

Most likely if you are facing a medical problem, you are seeking some kind of remedy. But, what should the ultimate remedy be? During a prayer time for healing at my girls group recently, our leader referenced Jesus as being the ultimate essential oil! What truth! I just loved that she said that. It’s SO easy to get caught up in putting our trust in other things or other people: whether it’s doctors, eating healthy, essential oils, medicine, etc. There is nothing wrong with seeking other methods, but I think it’s important we recognize that Jesus is the healer, comforter and restorer. He might use another avenue to help aid us in full healing, but it’s by His stripes that we are healed.

Trust Him with your life. Instead of putting your hope in other things, including doctors and/or oils, put them in Jesus!  “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.” Psalm 118:8

Yes I am actually practicing this right now. I wake up every morning thanking him and asking for a piece of mind.

I love natural healing & love that oils are such a healthy way of doing things… I just wish I was more knowledgable in these oils. I have so many & I know I’m not putting them to the best use.

Soooo true, I absolutely love this post! Oh my gosh I just posted something sort of similar? Okay, not at all. But basically I need to hear this today. In addition to trusting Him though, trying new supplements cant hurt right? lol. I started taking vitex to try to have a period recently because I skipped 5 months in a row, and it worked! So I’m feeling kind of hopeful about that.

This is SO good!! You’re such an encourager. Even when I’m doing something like acupuncture or a detox I continue to pray that Jesus ALONE will receive all the glory for my baby — not anything that I’ve done. He alone is healer.

What a beautiful thought, Caroline! He is the Great Physician, and unless He applies His healing balm, all of the remedies in the world, whether they be natural or synthetic, will not be effective. I couldn’t help but allow my mind to run in another direction as I read your post, too. I thought of how precious and sweet is the fragrance that He applies to our lives when we allow Him to be our Lord and Master. And His sweetness is brought forth in us and extracted from our lives and dispositions, many times, out of the times of crushing blows and pressing trials. There are plants whose sweetest fragrances are only drawn forth when their beautiful petals are severely bruised and crushed by the violence of blows. In order to bring forth our redemption, Jesus had to be completely crushed and bruised beyond recognition. The sweetest gift ever given to man had to be extracted through the most forceful of blows. It is so with us in our walk with Christ. Often it takes the harshness of blows to produce and draw forth the sweet aroma of His presence in our lives. Jesus is the sweetest and most precious of all, and I am so grateful to know Him and the more I know Him, the more I love Him!! He walks through the fire and the fragrance-extraction process with us and will never leave us alone!
