Psalm 138:8 – Every Promise #112

My heart needs to read and re-read this Psalm today. I have had to remind myself that despite what difficulties I (and you) will face, God will always bring us through the trials. I am so thankful for Psalm 138:8 which says,You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is so constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!”

God is going to preserve your life! His love for you is constant and endless and although, like me, you might be in the middle of trouble right now, His love for you will always get you through. His supernatural power enables you to not only survive your trial, but thrive through it as well. He will keep you alive and His power will set you free from whatever you face. I imagine I am not the only one who needs to be reminded of this?!

How long have you been waiting? What has God spoken to you about your future? Wherever you are in your journey, God isn’t going to abandon what He started, but He will fulfill the purposes He has for you. He knows what is best and as much as you try to make your own plans, He has the final say.

The Lord is never going to leave His work unfinished. Let His love overwhelm you as you wait on Him. He keeps EVERY promise!

Such a good verse! I have been working on a post this weekend about God keeping His promises and waiting in lieu of Josiah Day tomorrow. It’s funny how our brains think the same sometimes 😉 Because when you wrote your the letter to your babies…I was working on one too. hehehe. It’s still in my drafts. lol! Love ya!

Yes! God is working in us, and even if we feel like we’re finished, God knows what and who we are supposed to be.

I have really grown to love the Psalms this past year or so. I am not sure I entirely appreciated them before that, but now they are such a comfort to me!!
