I Am Not Alone

The tears streamed down my face as I heard this song, I Am Not Alone by Kari Jobe, at my girls group on Monday night. I knew I had to share it as I know there is someone out there who needs to be reminded that they are not alone. He is our strength, our defender, our refuge, and through every trial He is faithful. Remember that you are never, ever alone. He is with you today and always! Read the lyrics, listen to the song, and I promise you will be encouraged!

I Am Not Alone
When I walk through deep waters
I know that You will be with me
When I’m standing in the fire
I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow
I will not fear

I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me

In the midst of deep sorrow
I see Your light is breaking through
The dark of night will not overtake me
I am pressing into You
Lord, You fight my every battle
And I will not fear

You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own

You’re my strength
You’re my defender
You’re my refuge in the storm
Through these trials
You’ve always been faithful
You bring healing to my soul

Kari Jobe I Am Not Alone

Amen girl! I just discovered Kari Jobe this year, and that girl’s got soul!! I’ve been listening to her rendition of Redemption Song over and over, and on Sunday, my worship leader played it. For a few moments, I forgot where I was. Tears streaming, body shaking. Man… God is so good, and the Spirit is powerful!! Glad we’re having parallel experiences and she is being used so powerfully for so many people. What a gift.

Love you. But more than that, The Lord loves you! YOU are never alone! What an absolutely breathtaking promise…

Thank you for this… My precious friend lost her husband unexpectedly last week. THIS is her truth she will cling to each devastating day ahead.

So beautiful, and sung as only Kari can sing. What a blessing! I hadn’t heard this one. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful reminder that we are not alone. No matter how dark it gets, the darkness can never fully extinguish His light in us. Just knowing He is with us is such a dear comfort. I love Him SO! Love you, too, sweet friend. 🙂

This so crazy! I was just working on a post yesterday of all the songs I have felt inspired me and this one was at the top of the list! Kari Jobe has such a way with words. I am so thankful for her music.

I love Kari Jobe – her music is truly blessed. So many times her music has touched me at various times of need.

It’s not Kari Jobe but I know you like Bethel music – have you heard: You Make Me Brave? I love that song. I was thinking as I was listening to this song that it would pair well with You Make Me Brave.

    Thanks for sharing.
    xoxo

I really don’t know how people get through life without faith in God watching over us and going before us. It’s such a peace and comfort to me!
