Memory Monday – Week 40

While we were at the healing service yesterday, one of the ladies prayed Isaiah 41:10 over me. There is so much power in this verse.

This verse starts out with a command and a promise, which tells us not to fear and not to be dismayed, because He is with us and He is God. God, the creator of all things, is with us! There should never, ever, ever be any room for fear or dismay because of this truth. We should take this promise and truth seriously. The reason fear and dismay take over is because we lose sight of who God is.

The second part of the verse tells us that He will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us.  He desires to do all of this for us not because He has to, but because He loves us and desires to. He wants to see us prosper. He wants to see us experience freedom and victory.

If you are overtaken by fear I encourage you to spend time with Him! When we gain knowledge of the power He holds, we realize how much He desires to pour out His love, strengthen, help, and hold us.

And indeed He does keep this promise. His Word and His Love for us is forever!

This is one of my key verses going into our birthing time. So much power, so much strength! And all from our God.

This a powerful verse. A great reminder that God is always with us every step of the way. Holding us up when we think we can’t bear any more. He’s good and merciful.

Amen – I love this. Fear is just like worry – not productive at all and we lose sight of who God is and the power that we who believe have. Thank you for this great reminder!

This is among my favorite bible verses. It is a key piece that I confess all the time especially when I am going through seasons of birthing, seasons of adversity etc. We have to believe God beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is right there with us and that we need not be afraid of the terror by night nor the arrows that fly at noonday. He is an ever present God in times of trouble or in our moments of peace. Thank you for sharing your testimony and to remind us again of this wonderful promise of God. I am pinning and sharing on my other sites. Blessings! 🙂
