Healing Service – Part Deux

C.J. and I attended another healing service today. This one was a little different then the one we went to back in May, as it was a more intimate setting, but still incredible. My sweet friend who I met at the airport told me about the service. Her church does the service every other Saturday and we will probably continue to go until we are pregnant!!

I posted these scriptures on our last post when we went to the healing service, but wanted to share them again. There is no doubt that the Lord is doing BIG things through these times of prayer and we are just so grateful for the opportunity. If you have the chance to go to a similar service or to get prayed over by the elders of your church I strongly encourage it!

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. – Matthew 21:22

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord” James 1:6-7.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. – James 5:13-16

I love these verses. We were prayed over several times by our church. We need to keep it up. Praises to God for how he uses people to bring us closer to him in every way.

We went to a healing service at our church in the midst of our IVF cycle. It was incredibly powerful to be prayed over and anointed with oil. So glad it was a great experience for you as well. God certainly is listening to the prayers of so many on your behalf.
